DAL T. Take Off. The aircraft will now take off and once it clears the runway, the flight status will change to IA. DAL IS It is cleared to Flight level feet currently travelling at knots with an heading of SWA RS To the left of the departure strips, is the communication window. It displays all the commands issued by the controller and the responses from the pilots of the airplanes.
Early Warning. All aircraft need a vertical separation of feet and horizontal seperation of 3 miles. If the conditions are not met, and the planes are just outside the scope, they will be highlighted in orange. This is like an early warning system.
If this happens within the scope, planes will be highlighted in red. There are 3 levels available with increasing order of difficulty. Higher levels have increased traffic as well. With over 80 flights landing and taking off every minute, ground control is as busy and as challenging as the tower.
For departing aircrafts, route them to the assigned runway and then hand the aircraft over to tower. For arriving aircraft, route them to their assigned gate. Clears existing route.
Organize and expedite the flow of air traffic at a major airport. Your mission is to manage the airport avoiding any delays or collisions. Watch out for the planes in the air as for the once on the ground. You can choose between three gates. It is best to start with gate 1, which has only one airstrip and is easier to manage than gate 2 or 3, which both have two runways. Prepare the planes to take off and decide when to land the incoming ones.
Stay calm and concentrated even if you have to face a great volume of air traffic. It is all about perfect management. Are you ready for this responsible task? Your challenge is to handle as many arrivals and departures per hour as you safely can.
There is an airport with two runways at the center of the radar. Approaching aircraft follow the blue waypoints and land on the left runway, departing aircraft leave from the right runway and follow the purple waypoints. Same scenario as Sky-High Approach1, but with two more approach and two more departure routes.
